How can we experience revelation - a personal and communal connection with the Divine - through the holiday of Shavuot? What changes, deepens, shifts, when so many of the usual trappings - the all night community learn-fest, hearing the Ten Commandments read from a Torah scroll in synagogue, sharing meals - are gone this year? Let’s deepen our inquiry into the spiritual opportunity of Shavuot, and the specific challenges and opportunities of this moment. We’ll do so by making our own Shavuot revelation creations - we’ll have fun, learn, create together and emerge more deeply prepared to meet our Maker (but not, ya know, in a final way) on Shavuot.
